| Painting holiday |
A holiday with painting as the theme or focus can be put together. It can
be for a couple to a small group of 5 to 6 people. Various locations other
than our property can be considered and put into the programme. There are
excellent places that can be inspiring for artists. At Philipkutty’s
farm you can get inspired to paint and sketch from the farm and the surroundings,
the village and rural country side and the flowing backwaters (eg. you could
take a day cruise on a big vallam / house boat / motor boat through the
narrow canals).
My interests are in water colours and a little of oil painting and can
participate with groups if needed and time permitting.
| Cost |
Nothing in particular except the tour
costs, hiring of boats, cost of materials and cost of hiring a local
artist (approximately USD $10 to $20 per day) if needed. |

Available all year. Timings flexible. A proper schedule
can be worked out if needed. |
| Period of stay |
Ideally a minimum of at least 3 to 4 days. A week
would be fine. |
| Other details |
A small studio facility can be set up.
Better to bring your own materials and equipment. If required basic
materials are available locally.
Local artists can be hired to participate, help or guide.
Other locations like hill stations,and activities like wildlife trek,
mountain trek, outdoor camping etc. can be considered.
A small collection of resource books on painting, drawing and sketching
are available at the property. |
